Chris & Simon are true gents. I highly recommend this garage. They know what they talking about and the service is impeccable & very fair. They always treat customers with honesty. I have been using this garage for the last 7 to 8 years for my auto gearbox problems and they have always been fixed without any further problems. I am a wheelchair user & the hospitality I get from the lads at CAL is awesome i cant thank them enough Thank you Chris & si. Russ

Excellent Customer Service from Chris and Simon and highly recommended.

I spoke with Simon on the phone who clearly explained the fault with my gearbox and that there were two potential outcomes, one being twice the price of the other and that he couldn't confirm which one until he had dismantled it.
Fortunately for me it was the first option (he could have quite easily told me it was the more expensive option and I'd have been none the wiser, which goes to show how honest he is)
Although, I had to wait a few weeks due to how busy they were (another good sign of a good company) once my car was booked in, it was repaired in the timescale given.
Unfortunately the day after picking it up, it broke down again.
I spoke with Simon on the phone who was astonished to receive my call.
He opened up the workshop after hours to ensure my car was secured after being recovered and immediately diagnosed a CTU fault that had not been registered on the initial diagnosis.
Simon was very apologetic and ensured my car would be repaired the following day and asked to keep it a little longer to give it an extended test drive to ensure it had no other underlying issues before handing it back.
All the extra work was done under the 12 months warranty with no quibble or extra cost.
Great guys, great company.

These guys sorted out a 2nd hand gear box and fitted it, with a warranty! Cheaper than I thought and quicker than they planned! Cannot fault them! And Si has the cutest dog 😍! Thanks again!

Had an issue with my DSG gearbox (Mechatronic Unit). Cal Trans saw it the same day and diagnosed it quickly. They were patient, responsive and helpful when submitting my claim via my warranty company and then fixed the issue at a reasonable price. They also picked up another issue with my ABS sensor and fixed that. Would highly recommend this garage, reliable, honest, patient and good value.

Car broke down this morning. Phoned CAL who said I could bring it straight down. The service was excellent. Diagnosed and fixed the problem within 15 minutes and back on the road! Can’t thank them enough and know where I’ll be going if I have any future problems. Definitely recommend this garage.
